Cary Helenius and Jules Gribble. We
utilise an established network of professional experienced support, both
actuarial and non-actuarial, as appropriate. We are passionate about the need for retirement to be effectively addressed, especially in meeting the evolving lifelong challenges of wealth management in retirement as distinct to wealth accumulation prior to retirement. |

Cary Helenius, Director, Lifetime
Income ü A qualified actuary for over 25 years and has over 30 years’
experience in financial services and equity markets ü Widely experienced in equity market research, investment
banking and corporate advice ü Actively involved with the Institute of Actuaries. Including publishing papers, a past member
of its Superannuation Committee and
Committee for the Future, and presented at various
Institute and other industry conferences over the past 25 years. ü Based in Melbourne ü
Professional
qualifications: FIAA (Fellow of the
Institute of Actuaries of Australia) BSc
(Hon) and Diploma. Ed from University of Melbourne Cary was formerly
an equity partner and Executive Director of Goldman Sachs JBWere
where formerly a number 1 rated analyst and spent 10 years as a senior
research analyst covering the insurance and gaming sectors and 5 years in the
investment banking division. Jules Gribble, Director, Lifetime
Income ü A qualified actuary for over 30 years with over 35 years experience in financial services ü Broadly experienced with all aspects of investment product
unit pricing, operational risk, and modelling ü Active involvement with the Institute of Actuaries, serving on
its council from 2011-2013 and from 2019-2021 and a range of committees ü Active involvement with the International Actuarial
Association, serving on a range of committees. ü Based in Adelaide ü
Professional
qualifications: FIAA (Fellow of the
Institute of Actuaries of Australia) CERA
(Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary) GAICD
(Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors) PhD
(Numerical mathematics, University of St Andrews, Scotland) Jules returned to
Australia in 2019 after six years with the International Association of
Insurance Supervisors, in Basel. Prior
to that he was a Partner at EY and was a founder of the successful actuarial
consulting firm of Askit Consulting in
Melbourne. He also has a long
established interest in capacity building, for both the actuarial profession
and supervisors in the financial services. |
